How to create the VERA Sync user

Follow the below steps to create the VERA Sync user. The VERA Sync user account will be utilized by the VERA Server to make updates to Jira fields. This account should not be used by any individual and the credentials should not be shared.

Step-by-step guide

1. Click on Jira Administration icon in the top-right corner of the window (cog)
   
   
2. Click on "User management" in the drop-down box
   
   
3. Click "Create user"
   
   
4. Fill in the following information in the "Create new user" form
   

   Field	Value
   Email address
   Full name	VERA Sync User
   Username
   Password

5. Check the Jira Software checkbox for "Application access"
   
   
6. Click "Create user"
