Overview of Audit History

Users assigned to the System Administrator roles are able to view audit history of Vera Site Administration. Audit history contains changes made to Vera including who made the change, when the change was made as well as the old and new field values if applicable.

Audit History was introduced in Vera 2023.4 and currently provides audit history of User Profiles.

Audit History displays the following sortable fields

  • Timestamp - date and time of action

  • Username - user or vera service that performed action (jsmith, Csv Import)

  • Action - the action performed on the entity (Add, Update, Delete)

  • Entity Type - the Vera Administration type (currently we only include User)

  • Entity Name - Name of entity with action

  • Vera ID - ID of entity with action

To view these changes,

  1. Access the Administration Area

  2. Navigate to the Reports Page

  3. Select Audit History

User Profile Audit History

System Administrators can view all changes made to Vera instance of User Management including who made the change, when the change was made, what the old value was and what is the new value.

The following actions are captured on User Profile:

  • Add User

  • Update User

    • Full Name

    • Email Address

    • Identity Provider

    • IdP Username

    • System Roles

  • Delete User

  • Activate User

  • Deactivate User

  • Change User Password (by User)

  • Reset User Password (by Administrator)

  • Enable User Email Notifications

  • Disable User Email Notifications

  • Lock User

  • Unlock User
