VERA Roles

Tx3 VERA provides separate roles to facilitate segmentation of duties. Additional roles can be configured. VERA categorizes user roles into four groups:

  • Authors: General users who are responsible for creating new records, editing existing records, and submitting records for approval.
  • Approvers: Users with the authority to review records and approve them with an electronic signature.
  • Managers: Users with elevated permissions for accessing restricted workflow actions and managing project information and reporting.
  • Administrators: Users with elevated permissions for configuring a VERA project in QC/ALM.

Additionally, QC/ALM provides a view-only category of user. Users who are assigned only Viewer permissions will only be able to view data in the QC/ALM project. They will have no ability to create records, edit records, or access VERA actions.
