Group Email Notifications

VERA now supports sending approval task notifications (emails) to an entire approval group when an approval task is assigned to <Any>. This feature requires modifications to the Notification Policy file to implement.

Initialize Defect Fields from Test Runs

VERA can be configured to copy fields from a test run to a defect when the defect is created from the run. This feature requires modifications to the Records Management Policy file to implement.

Defect Attachment History

VERA now includes  an "Attachment History" field on defect records similar to the Run “Attachment History” field.  The defect's Attachment History field is populated with a summary of all attachment actions (add/edit/delete) on the defect when routed for approval or closed.  This feature requires modifications to the ALM Template and Records Management Policy file to implement.

Enhanced Controls on Run Step Attachments

VERA supports evaluating fields on an individual step to determine whether attachments can be added/modified/removed from that step. This feature requires modifications to the ALM Template and Records Management Policy file to implement.

Approval Subgroups

VERA supports assigning approval tasks to a predefined subset of an approval group.  Organizations can create subgroups of approval groups to better manage and control who completes approval tasks when there is a large group of approvers with different expertise.  Customers can create approval subgroups which will provide the ability to assign an approval task to a subgroup in addition to a group or individual.  This feature requires modifications to the ALM Template and Approval Policy file to implement.
