Verify Basic Operation
Verify basic operations in the Tosca Integration. See the Tosca Integration User Guide for additional details.
- Create a Tosca project with a Test Case and an ExecutionList with that Test Case in it. Set their Workstate attribute/property to "COMPLETED". Put text in their Description fields.
- Create a VERA test project, making sure all policy and tds files are configured and uploaded, as described above
- Login as a VERA user that can create tests, test sets and execute them.
- In the Test Plan module, create a Test, and select the Type to be "Tosca". The icon is a red circle with the letter T in it.
- In the TestLab module, create a folder, select the folder and click the Tosca Interface toolbar button. Select the ExecutionList.
- Verify that the Test and Test Set display correctly, with ALM Description fields set with the text from the Tosca items.
- Approve the Test and set the Execution List to an executable state.
- In Tosca, make sure a Test Event exists, as described above, and an Agent machine is available and Idle.
- Run the Test Set. The Execution List should run and a Run report is attached to the Test Set.
