Follow the below steps to create the VERA service account in Jira. This service account will be utilized by VERA to make updates to Jira fields.

1. Click on the settings cog wheel on the bottom left

2. Click on System
3. Under the security section, click Project roles
4. Add a Tx3 VERA System Project role and click Add
5. Click on the settings cog wheel on bottom left
6. Click Settings
7. Click User ManagementUser Management

8. Click Invite Users on the top right

9. Invite the VERA Service Account user by putting in their email and click Invite User
