Process Steps

  1. Revise Test Case in qTest

Special Rule(s)

  1. The qTest Test Case will become unlocked and editable

  2. The Tosca Test Case will become unlocked and editable

  3. qTest Test Case is incremented to next minor version

  4. Vera stores superseded approved records

  5. Tosca Test Cases will not be executable until the test is reapproved

This revise action cannot be undone.

Revising Tosca Test Case Approval requires processing time to update the Tosca Test Case WorkState with the Tosca Commander REST API

  1. Select qTest Test Case with Tosca and Automation checked

  2. Click Revise button and wait for Vera to process the record

  3. qTest Test Case Vera fields are updated and the VERA Approval Route contains a link the previous revisions in Vera

     

  4. Vera domain member can view the previous revisions of the record in Vera
