Attachment History

VERA provides the ability to view an audit history for attachments. The Attachment History field must be enabled by Tx3 for the history to be visible, though the information pertaining to attachments will be tracked in the database for any record type regardless of whether this feature is enabled.

Overview

The Attachment History field is populated with attachment modifications when a record is routed for approval for end user visibility. If the record is moved into a state other than Routing for Approval, Approved, or Rejected, the Attachment History field will clear. For each attachment history event, the attachment information will populate the user, the attachment name, the action performed, and the time of the action.

Run Attachment Information

When a run is transitioned to Routing for Approval, the Attachment History field is populated with attachment information. This covers both attachments to the run and the steps within the run. If the run has not been routed for approvals or if it returns to the Draft state, the Attachment History field displays a message indicating that the field will be populated when the run is routed for approvals.
