Deploy ALM client and TOSCA Test Type on Citrix
After the custom test type is installed on the ALM server (see Install ALM Server Files) the TOSCA Test Type will be included in the standard ALM client registration.
The MicroFocus ALM Client MSI Generator does not include custom test types like the TOSCA Test Type when generating an MSI package and this deployment method is not available for the VERA TOSCA Integration.
The ALM test type components are installed by standard ALM client registration for individual deployment. The ALM Tools option “Shared Deployment for Virtual Environments” can be used to deploy ALM components on a shared location of a client machine such as Citrix.
Run Internet Explorer as an administrator
Navigate to the ALM index page
Click the Tools link
Click the Shared Deployment for Virtual Environments link
Click the Install Shared Deployment for ALM Client link and the ALM client is downloaded and registered to the machine.
During the deployment you may be prompted to install software published by Tx3 Services LLC.
Add Tx3 Services, LLC as a Trusted Publisher by clicking on Tx3 Services LLC publisher link
Click the View Certificate button
Click the Install Certificate button
Select Local Machine then click Next button
Select Place all certificates in the following store option then click the Browse... button
Select Trusted Publishers then click OK button
Click Next to confirm selection
Click Finish to import the certificate.
Click OK to close confirmation dialog
