What's New in 2023.3

Vera 2023.3 improved user management by providing the ability to deactivate and activate users, view status of users and login information of each user by site administrators. We added the configurability of approval policies to allow the approval of records without signatures to support mixed GxP projects and Computer Software Assurance.

The following enhancements are included in the VERA 2023.3 release:

Improved Jira integration

The Jira integration Route for Approval and Cancel Approval Route actions has improved queuing and scalability with new microservices. In addition, the import of Jira records and attachments was optimized to reduce import time. These improvements ensure smoother workload management and scalability with Vera & Jira, enabling you to streamline your testing processes like never before.

Approve without Signatures

Vera is configurable to no longer require approval with signatures based on customer business rules. You can now configure the approval policy to allow approvals without signature.

When a record is configured for approval without signature the record status is updated to Approved when it is routed for approval. Both the source system and Vera will display the Approval Route field with:

  • Approval Route Name

  • Displays the text “No signatures required for this record.”

  • Date and Time stamp
