Complete Tosca Test Mandate Approval Route

Vera domain approvers can approve qTest Test Runs with Tosca Test Results. When all approval tasks are complete, the approval route is complete, and the qTest Test Runs with Tosca Test Result is approved.

Process Steps

All approvers complete their approval tasks with steps below:

  1. Use Approval Task link to navigate to Vera Approval Task OR login to Vera to see the Vera Approval Queue

  2. Select Approve option

  3. Enter credentials for eSignature

Special Rule(s)

  1. The qTest Test Run remain locked and uneditable

  2. Vera approvers must be associated to the same domain as the qTest project

  3. When all approval tasks are complete, the approval route is complete and the qTest Test Run is approved

  4. The associated Tosca TestEvent, TestMandate and Execution Lists are editable

  1. Select Approval Task from VERA Approval Route or Approval Queue

  2. Record is displayed in Vera with qTest Execution Logs, Tosca ExecutionLists, Execution Logs, Step Logs and Step Values.

  3. Tosca Doku Snapper report is attached to Tosca Execution List

  4. Open the Doku Snapper report to view screenshots and test detail

  5. Approver has option to Approve or Reject the record

  6. Approver is prompted to use their authentication provided to approve the record

  7. Approver enters their credentials to approve the record

  8. Approval task is updated with approver name, userid and approval timestamp. When all approval tasks are Complete, the Tosca Test Case is approved and can be executed
