Other Operations for a VERA Test

Cancel Test

Use the VERA Go button to 'Cancel' a Test. This prevents further operations to be performed on the Test.
Undo a Cancel operation by clicking the VERA Go button and select 'UnCancel'. This sets the Test status back to 'Draft'.

Obsolete/UnObsolete

See the VERA documentation. Admins and/or Managers use the VERA 'Obsolete' to move a Test Status from Approved to Obsolete, and vice-versa.

Revise

Use VERA's 'Revise' operation to move a Test from Approved, back to Draft, so it can be updated in Tosca. When this occurs, Tosca engineers are able to update in Tosca. When the Test is again routed for approval, Tosca engineers will no longer be able to update in Tosca.

Smart Delete Records & Folders

This option is available in cases where a Test needs to be deleted. But, additional tasks need to be performed in Tosca, as, currently, a VERA delete operation leaves the associated Tosca object locked and associated with a non-existent VERA object.
Before deleting the ALM Test, note its "Tosca ID" value. After deleting the ALM Test, have an Admin log in to Tosca and clear the associated Test Case's ALM ID & Vera Synchronization values, and set its owning group back to a group that allows editing. Alternatively, have the Admin delete the Test Case in Tosca, if desired.
