Smart Delete in Test Lab module

Test Set Designers and Test Administrators can delete test sets and folders, given that they are unneeded for quality or compliance reasons. This is done using the Smart Delete action. Reference Smart Delete for more information about using Smart Delete.

Special Rule(s)

  1. For test set folders, the folder must be empty.
  2. For test sets, the Revision Number may not be 2 or greater.
  3. For test sets, the test set may not contain any formal test runs. Informal (Dry Run) test runs are allowed.
  4. The selected records will be removed from the system.
  5. For Dry Run test sets, any informal test runs in the test set will also be deleted.

 Warning: Permanently deleting an entity also removes the entity from all audit logs.
